The policy and application process for meetings to be considered for ‘EGS Likes’:

1. 1. Only meetings organized by a scientific society or relevant scientific person/body are eligible.
2. 2. Applications should be submitted at least 3 months prior to the planned date of the meeting.
3. 3. The application must be submitted through the online submission page. It will be forwarded to the EGS Officers and the Programme Planning Committee (PPC) Chair for review. An English version of the programme must be provided. The PPC will evaluate it based on scientific and educational merit.
4. 4. The EGS ExCo will consider the application for final approval, after which the meeting organiser will be notified.
5. 5. Applicants must provide a means for participants to enroll (e.g., website URL).

1. 1. Details of the meeting will be posted on the EGS website, including the logo, meeting date, and link to the programme.
2. 2. EGS will advertise the ‘EGS Likes’ meeting in the EGS Newsletter. However, EGS will not send direct mailings to its members.
3. 3. The meeting organiser may include the ‘EGS Likes’ stamp in the programme and promotional materials. The logo will be emailed upon approval.
4. 4. The EGS logo may not be used for any commercial activity, such as lunch symposia or similar events.
